We Are is an art based day service for those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We Are is located smack dab in the middle of the Omaha metro area making access to our site effortless. Located at 2941 N 108th St., just South of Maple this location has plenty of parking and ADA access to the entrance of the building. This location also has restrooms that are in ADA compliance as well. We are also a store front for art, t-shirts, coasters, hats and a variety of apothecary style items.
We Are uses art as a form of expression to meet the needs of the people we serve, in a way that feeds the mind, body and soul. The art studio will be open to the public while maintaining the up most integrity, and privacy for those we serve.
WE ARE believe that all persons have the right to exist, live, thrive , be gainfully employed, educated, and grow within their surroundings, and interact within their community without barriers.
We Are believe in empowering and enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities through skill teaching, community inclusion, and empowering people while being centered around each person’s SPECIFIC need. While also integrating others needs to achieve a higher sense of community. No two people are the same.
